Its rugged, physical properties make it very suitable for applications where space is limited and for vibration intensive use cases. It uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology and enables asset localization when scanned by Sensolus devices with smart BLE gateway capabilities. Activation and installation manual for TAG 2008 www.sensolus.com | info@sensolus.com June 24, 2025 Activation of the TAG 2008 The TAG 2008 comes pre-activated from the factory. No additional activation is required. Mounting the TAG 2008 Secure the TAG 2008 using double-sided tape or industrial-grade adhesive. See general mounting advice document for detailed mounting guidelines. Replacing batteries The batteries in the TAG 2008 are non-replaceable. When the battery is depleted, the entire unit must be replaced.
